The BeRobot from Gestream is the current Guinness World Record holder for the smallest humanoid robot in production at a total height of 15cm since 2007.

The BeRobot can show you how easy it is to build and program a real robot, not just a toy with simple behaviors. It is a robotic learning tool for engineers of all ages and abilities, from students to researchers and experienced hobbyists. It enables everyone to learn mechanics, electronics, robotic control and robotic programming.

1. Child friendly: As a result of its small size, the BeRobot does not require powerful motors to perform the same actions as larger robots. This ensures that if a finger is accidently caught by a moving arm or leg, the pressure applied to the finger by the robot is insufficient to cause harm.
2. Two step learning: The BeRobot Intelligent Motion Designer software that is used to program the robot includes 3 types of interfaces. One interface is a graphical mouse controlled system and is suitable for novice users who are just stepping into the world of robotics and the second is Microsoft Visual Basic system for more experienced users and a more advanced is the C/Assembly based embedded CPU firmware programming interface.
